Used K2 Ser. #2786 which I originally built.
-K2/100 (s/n #2721) "tune-up", along with remoting the KPA100 into an EC2 enclosure with a KAT100 for KL0SW. The K2 will have a KIO2 installed along with a KAT2 and a KBT2 (Battery Option).

-Updated K2 (s/n 2721) with KDSP2 DSP option. Also finished a KX1 (s/n 1437 w/ KXB3080, KXAT1, and KXPD1)..all for KL0SW (Dec. 2006).
-Built an SW-30+, and a Epiphyte 3 for Rich KL7PB (Dec. 2006).
-Custom built an AT Sprint 3A micro 4-band CW Transceiver for an amateur in Japan.
-Completed another Wilderness Sierra w/KC2, BuzzNot NB and 3 band modules for NE1NH (August 2007).
-Repaired (+LED Kit) a Kenwood TS-2000 for a radio club in Winston-Salem, NC (August 2007):
Receiver was intermittent about 5 minutes after turn on. Q1 (RF mute transistor) and R2 and R3 (bottom of pcb) fried on the TX-RX 1 Unit PCB. My guess is that someone actually transmitted into the transceiver!
-Installed an LED Display Kit into an amateurs TS-2000 (November 2007)
-Completed (April '08) working on a Norcal 2030 SMD Kit.
(A Low Power / High Performance 20M or 30M DC CW Transceiver...)
-Completed (November '09) K2 Serial Number 3023 (Troubleshooting, adding KSB2, alignment) for NV8DM
-Repaired/ aligned K2/ 100 (sn #3595) for Bert (WA2SI)...unstable VFO.

Below are pics from my 3rd Elecraft K2 Transceiver (Ser. #2786)Included are the following options and modifications:
1- SSB
-Includes 2nd stage XFil Mod for flatter SSB Filter Response
-Mod to improve IMD for PSK31 transmissions
-10db RF mod to increase gain ("Improving the performance of the KSB2" - KI6WX)
-20 turn Pot for carrier balance adjustment
2- Noise Blanker
-latest updated pcb3- 160 Meter
4- KPA100
-Min 105 watts on all bands.
-Improved swr/power accuracy even with KPA100 bypassed!
5 - Astatic 575-M6 Hand Held Microphone
6- As of May 8, 2003: - Transceiver updated with all mods, and filters tuned
using Spectrogram.
-Most IC's are installed into high quality sockets for easy removal.
-Used Kester "no clean" Silver Solder. Flux removed from most of the PCB's.
-Crystals are grounded as low as possible to the pcbs.
-Installed K2 Temperature Compensated PLL Reference Upgrade (May '03). Picture of modification is shown below.....
